Chief Executive Officer

Sherry Campbell is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GenCrest Capital Partners, where she leverages almost three decades of expertise in high-stakes financial planning and asset protection. Recognized nationally for her work in high-net-worth divorce cases, Sherry is a trusted advisor for complex financial settlements and litigation support.

As the author of the Marital Asset Protection Program (MAPP) and the co-creator of Affidavit MAPP software, she has revolutionized the financial affidavit preparation process, providing attorneys and clients with powerful tools for ensuring accurate financial documentation and equitable settlements. Her deep understanding of financial complexities allows her to craft sophisticated strategies for wealth preservation, growth, and income planning.

Sherry’s leadership extends to business exit planning, where she helps entrepreneurs transition seamlessly, aligning their financial and personal objectives as a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®). Additionally, her expertise in trial preparation, forensic financial analysis, and expert witness services has positioned her as an invaluable resource in high-profile cases.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sherry is dedicated to her large, blended family. She and her husband are proud parents of 10 children and grandparents to 9 grandchildren. Her personal experiences shape her empathetic approach to financial planning, ensuring families achieve stability and long-term financial success.

Amy Conley, CWS®

President

Amy serves as the firm’s Chief Operations Officer and Compliance Officer. She also serves as an integral member of our Investment Committee assisting in the development of the company’s overall investment strategies.

A member of the team since 1995, she helps ensure that the firm’s activities are compliant with all industry and regulatory compliance standards. She is also responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the firm. She graduated from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, with a degree in financial services. She also obtained her Certified Wealth Strategist® certification and continues to lead discussions and participate in ongoing education forums on wealth management issues.

Senior Portfolio Manager

Todd joined the team in 2007 and serves as the Senior Portfolio Manager at GenCrest. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of all portfolios. He also serves in a key leadership role of the firm’s Investment Committee.

He focuses on building strong relationships and delivering quality solutions while providing excellent client service. He graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Management and Economics. Todd is an Accredited Portfolio Manager Advisor (APMA)℠ and serves on the board of directors of the Petty Family Foundation.

Ashley is the Director of Financial Planning Services and a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) at GenCrest, bringing over 20 years of financial services experience to our clients, including investment management, direct participation programs, income tax strategies, insurance planning, cash flow management, estate planning, and charitable giving.

Ashley fosters a comprehensive, individualized, and multi-faceted approach to various specialized areas of expertise, including business value acceleration, divorce planning, real estate investment, and foreign asset ownership. Ashley also oversees the tax planning and return preparation services for firm clients. Additionally, she coordinates with other key team members to offer tax and financial planning expertise related to business owner strategies, divorce situations, and customized investment management objectives.

Allison serves as Director of Client Relations and Marketing for GenCrest, specializing in client relationships and business development.

Allison assists in the development and implementation of marketing strategies for our high-profile clients. She takes a proactive approach to client relationships with a focus on communication, elevated levels of service, and events. Along with supporting both our client service team and advisory team to maintain a high level of client’s consistency of experience, Allison plans, organizes and implements client events and sponsorships. She also works directly with the Divorce Wealth Strategies team to support divorce clients.

Divorce Financial Analyst

Lindsey joined the GenCrest team in 2018 and plays a key role in supporting the Divorce Wealth Strategies team in an accounting capacity, as well as providing support services to Family Office clients. She ensures that the important details of a client’s finances are seamlessly integrated into the firm’s comprehensive analysis and planning services.

Lindsey earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of North Carolina Greensboro’s Bryan School of Business and holds both the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) and Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ (FPQP®) designations. She is also the co-creator of Affidavit MAPP, a software solution designed to streamline and enhance the preparation of financial affidavits in divorce proceedings. Her innovative approach empowers attorneys and clients by providing precise financial documentation, ensuring equitable settlements, and optimizing wealth management post-divorce.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two pups and making the most of the outdoors with family and friends. Whether hiking, exploring new places, or simply unwinding in nature, she values the balance between work and play that keeps her energized and focused on delivering exceptional service.

As a Portfolio Manager at GenCrest, Cole manages the firm’s day-to-day hedging operations and plays a key role in research management. He works closely with the portfolio team to analyze various companies across all sectors. Cole is also involved in the firm’s financial planning, wealth management, financial advisory and financial analysis, with a strong focus on research analysis and understanding financial metrics and industry dynamics.

A graduate of Texas State University, Cole holds a degree in business administration in finance. He moved to North Carolina in 2020 to join our team full-time. after interning with the firm in college. Cole has his Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA®), Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®), and Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FRPQ™) certifications.

Brad joined GenCrest Capital Partners as a Financial Advisor in 2024 after years of private practice and successful careers in textiles, technology services, and real estate development. The broad nature of his experience gives him a unique perspective on risk management and wealth accumulation. He was drawn to GenCrest’s collective culture of caring and commitment to serve others.

As a comprehensive financial planner, Brad analyzes how efficiently available funds are utilized to produce wealth building outcomes. He teaches financial principles that are sophisticated in their simplicity and rooted in the academic work of the most respected researchers in the industry. Brad strives to provide the tools and the education needed to have a comfortable understanding of the principles and strategies used to create successful wealth outcomes.

Brad holds both a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in business administration from Wake Forest University. In addition to being an investment advisor representative, he holds Life, Long Term Care, Disability, and Property insurance licenses.

As Senior Tax Accountant at the firm, Nora supports the Director of Financial Planning with individual tax planning and helping clients resolve tax issues. She joined GenCrest in 2024 and is rapidly expanding her role, serving as the point of contact for tax clients and assisting with financial planning analysis and divorce accounting. She specializes in database organization and analysis, identifying and implementing quality control, and conflict resolution for clients.

Nora’s multifaceted skill set and expertise ranges from more than a decade of technical experience across a variety of accounting roles as well as alternative investments, client relationship management and administrative operations. She previously served as point-of-contact for more than 800 active investors in multi-family real estate, giving her keen insight into fostering client relationships and a detail-oriented mentality to supporting the broader team. Nora enjoys the culture of personal ownership, growth, integrity, and stewardship that extends to each client and colleague at the firm.
